The short answer

God is called the 'Father of compassion and the God of all comfort' — not some comfort, but all comfort. Whatever you are going through, His comfort is designed to reach you there.

What Scripture Says

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,"

2 Corinthians 1:3

"who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

2 Corinthians 1:4

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."

Psalm 23:4

"As a mother comforts her son, so I will comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem."

Isaiah 66:13

"And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away."

Revelation 21:4
