The short answer

Waiting for healing can be one of the hardest things you ever do. God does not dismiss the difficulty of waiting — He promises to be with you in it, renewing your strength and sustaining your hope.

What Scripture Says

"But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint."

Isaiah 40:31

"Wait for the LORD; be strong, and take heart, and wait for the LORD."

Psalm 27:14

"For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay."

Habakkuk 2:3

"The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him."

Lamentations 3:25

"I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope."

Psalm 130:5
