The short answer

Inner healing — the mending of deep emotional and spiritual wounds — is something God cares about deeply. He sees the hurts that others cannot see, and He is gentle with the places in you that are still tender.

What Scripture Says

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Psalm 147:3

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

Psalm 51:10

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns."

Psalm 139:23

"See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Psalm 139:24

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!"

2 Corinthians 5:17

He creates something new from the inside out.
