The short answer

Your worth is not something you earn through accomplishments or approval from others. According to Scripture, your value was established by God when He created you — and nothing can diminish it.

What Scripture Says

"I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well."

Psalm 139:14

"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine."

Isaiah 43:1

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life."

Ephesians 2:10

"So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."

Matthew 10:31

"Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are!"

1 John 3:1
