What Does the Bible Say About God's Love for Me?
God's love for you is not abstract or distant — it is fiercely personal. He loved you before you loved Him, He gave everything for you, and nothing in all of creation can take that love away.
What Scripture Says
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38"We love because He first loved us."
1 John 4:19"The LORD appeared to him from afar: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion.""
Jeremiah 31:3"The LORD your God is among you, a mighty one who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will exult over you with singing."
Zephaniah 3:17"How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God, how vast is the sum of them!"
Psalm 139:17Going Deeper
God does not just love the world in general — He loves you specifically. Zephaniah 3:17 paints an extraordinary image: God rejoicing over you, quieting you with His love, and singing over you. His love is not something you need to earn or maintain; it is everlasting, as Jeremiah says. Let that truth sink past your doubts and into the deepest part of who you are.
