The short answer

The Bible teaches that God's forgiveness is vast and available for every sin you confess to Him. No matter what you have done, His grace is greater — and He is faithful to cleanse you completely.

What Scripture Says

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:9

"As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."

Psalm 103:12

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,"

Romans 8:38

"neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:39

"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake and remembers your sins no more."

Isaiah 43:25

Going Deeper

The scope of God's forgiveness is meant to overwhelm you — not with guilt, but with relief. He removes sin as far as east is from west, blots it out, and chooses to remember it no more. Nothing in all creation can separate you from His love. If you are wondering whether your particular sin is too much, the answer from Scripture is clear: it is not.
