The short answer

A prayer for anxiety begins by honestly telling God what you're feeling and then trusting Him to meet you in it. Scripture shows us that God welcomes our raw, unfiltered prayers and responds with His peace.

What Scripture Says

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

Philippians 4:6

"Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge."

Psalm 62:8

"I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears."

Psalm 34:4

"When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul."

Psalm 94:19
