The short answer

A prayer for healing after death asks God to begin the slow, sacred work of mending your broken heart. He promises to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds — not instantly, but faithfully.

What Scripture Says

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Psalm 147:3

Lamentations 3:22

Going Deeper

Healing after death is not linear — it comes in waves, with good days and hard days and days you barely get through. A prayer for healing is not asking God to help you forget. It's asking Him to walk with you through the slow process of learning to carry this loss. His mercies are new every morning, which means each day brings fresh grace for whatever that day holds.
