The short answer

A prayer for reconciliation begins with an honest desire for peace and a willingness to let God work in both hearts. God is in the business of restoring what is broken, and your prayer invites Him into that process.

What Scripture Says

"All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation."

2 Corinthians 5:18

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."

Matthew 5:9

"Bear with one another and forgive each other if any of you has a grievance. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Colossians 3:13

"Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you."

Ephesians 4:32

Going Deeper

Reconciliation is at the heart of the gospel — God reconciled the world to Himself through Christ, and He invites us to carry that same spirit into our relationships.
