What Scripture Calms a Racing Mind?
Psalm 46:10 says, 'Be still and know that I am God.' When your mind races, God invites you to pause — not to figure everything out, but to remember that He is God and you don't have to be.
What Scripture Says
"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth."
Psalm 46:10"You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You."
Isaiah 26:3"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things."
Philippians 4:8"Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me."
Psalm 131:2Going Deeper
A racing mind tries to process everything at once — every possible outcome, every potential danger. God's response is not more information, but an invitation to stillness. Psalm 131 paints a picture of a soul at rest, like a child calm in its mother's arms. That peace is available to you. It starts not by solving every problem, but by remembering who God is.
