The short answer

Proverbs 3:5-6 speaks directly to overthinking: 'Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.' When your mind won't stop analyzing, God invites you to trust Him instead of your own reasoning.

What Scripture Says

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;"

Proverbs 3:5

"in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:6

"You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You."

Isaiah 26:3

"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth."

Psalm 46:10
