The short answer

Proverbs 3:5-6 says to trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. When the path ahead is unclear, you can trust the character of the God who walks it with you.

Proverbs 3:6

"The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

Deuteronomy 31:8

"Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see."

Hebrews 11:1

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, declares the LORD."

Isaiah 55:8
