What Bible Verse Helps with Fear of the Future?
Jeremiah 29:11 declares God's plans for you are plans to prosper and not to harm, to give you a future and a hope. You don't have to see the whole road — just the One who's already there.
What Scripture Says
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11"I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My counsel will stand, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure."
Isaiah 46:10"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;"
Proverbs 3:5"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:34Going Deeper
Fear of the future is really fear of the unknown — and the unknown is terrifying when you feel alone in it. But God declares that He already knows the end from the beginning.
