The short answer

Psalm 34:18 promises that the LORD is near to the brokenhearted. God does not look away from a shattered heart — He moves toward it. Your brokenness is exactly where He meets you.

Going Deeper

A broken heart is not a disqualification from God's presence — it is an invitation into it. Jesus Himself said He was anointed to bind up the brokenhearted. He does not heal from a distance; He comes close, examines each wound, and gently puts you back together. Healing may be slow, but the Healer is near.
