What Bible Verse Says Do Not Be Afraid?
Deuteronomy 31:6 says, 'Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.' This is God's promise to His people through every generation.
What Scripture Says

Deuteronomy 31:6"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine."
Isaiah 43:1"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid."
John 14:27Going Deeper
The repeated call to 'not be afraid' throughout Scripture is always connected to God's promise of presence. He doesn't say 'don't be afraid because nothing bad will happen.' He says 'don't be afraid because I am with you.' From Deuteronomy through the words of Jesus, the message is consistent: whatever you face, you will not face it alone. The God who calls you by name goes with you.
