What Is a Bible Verse for Emotional Exhaustion?
When you are emotionally exhausted, God does not ask you to keep going on fumes. He invites the weary to come to Him for rest and promises to renew the strength of those who are spent.
What Scripture Says
"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28"But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:26"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalm 46:10Going Deeper
Emotional exhaustion is your heart telling you it has been carrying more than it can hold. God does not respond to that with more demands — He says be still. He offers rest, not another task list. Psalm 73:26 is a prayer for those who have nothing left: even when your flesh and heart fail, God becomes your strength. You are allowed to stop and let Him hold you.
