The short answer

When worry won't stop, pray honestly. Tell God exactly what you're afraid of, then ask Him to guard your mind with His peace. You don't need perfect words — just an open heart turned toward Him.

What Scripture Says

"Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge."

Psalm 62:8

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:7

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."

Psalm 139:23

"The LORD decrees His loving devotion by day, and at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life."

Psalm 42:8

Going Deeper

Sometimes worry feels like a loop you can't escape. The Psalms show us that the most honest prayers are often the most powerful. You can say 'God, I can't stop worrying about this, and I need You to take it.' Pouring out your heart is not weakness — it's worship. God meets you in the middle of your spiral and begins to quiet the noise.
